EMMA CAVANOUGH

Emma Cavanough is the owner of Ātman Yoga she is an experienced yoga teacher located in the Wollondilly surrounds. Her Mission as a yoga teacher is to allow each and every soul on their mat be their true authentic self.

Why Ātman?

Ātman is the Supreme Self that is immortal and ever-changeless. As the creation and manifestation of God, all beings are and will always be the immortal atman.

LOTUS FLOW- VINYASA

Lotus flow yoga is a form of vinyasa. The aim of this yoga class is to align your practice with the chakra system. The class begins with the first chakra and begins to move up all the way through the 7 chakras of the body, which allows us to connect deeper with our subtle body and allow for a greater body awareness when completing our physical practice of asanas (postures).

The beginning of each class will start with a mantra or dharma talk, to create an intention to work through during our practice. Connecting the mind, body and spirit. 

Lotus flow is a very holistic practice that allows for us to create balance within our body and mind. If you are showing up to a class because you feel deeply lethargic, then this class should make you feel energised. If you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, the practice should help to support you to feel grounded and calmer.
